State 48 Machinery is seeking an elite, highly experienced Heavy Equipment Field Service Mechanic to handle diagnostics and repairs across the Phoenix Valley. This is a pure field service role with home-dispatch privileges out of a specialty-equipped service truck. Minimum 8 years of Yellow Iron experience and an active CDL Class B are strictly required to be considered.

Core Requirements to Match:

• Experience: 8+ years of professional Yellow Iron heavy equipment troubleshooting and repair.
• Scraper Proficiency: Demonstrated, hands-on experience maintaining and diagnosing heavy equipment scrapers.
• License: Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (must have prior to start date).
• Medical Card: Active DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Tools: Must own master-level personal hand tools.
• Certifications: Ability to maintain MSHA certification (State 48 will provide/pay for training).

What You Will Do:

• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, engine, and powertrain systems in the field.
• Utilize software like Caterpillar ET and Cummins Insite.
• Communicate repair findings clearly to customers on-site.

Work Location: On the road / Field Service. Dispatching locally to Phoenix, Mesa, Glendale, Gilbert, Chandler, Peoria, Surprise, Buckeye, Tolleson, and surrounding Valley cities.
